About Me
Hello! I’m Bardia – a father, a husband, and a passionate programmer. My life is a balancing act of these three roles, with a significant focus on programming. My expertise spans from backend development and DevOps to web and mobile applications, and recently, game development.
My programming journey began at the age of 9 when I was inspired by a game and decided to create one myself. I started with QBasic and will always be grateful to my first teacher, Mr. Hossein Rezaei. Back then, strict computer usage rules allowed only one hour of gameplay each day, but learning and creating my own games had no such restrictions. This curiosity fuelled my desire to learn and spend more time with the computer.
The first serious programm I wrote was a music player with a playlist feature, inspired by WinAmp. At 17, after selling my first software, I realised my professional path was set.
After university, I founded several startups. Two of them turned into successful businesses, while five did not. In 2022, I moved to Australia, where I continue my professional journey through various projects and small investments in IT ventures.
When I’m not coding, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love learning new things, practising the violin and piano, dabbling in painting, and keeping up with the latest training in my field. Staying active with some exercise is also important to me.
I created this website to connect with new professional friends and to introduce myself more comprehensively than a resume allows. Here, I share my experiences, including the projects I’ve worked on and the challenges I’ve faced.
